A name is just
the starting point.
Explore public biographies, profiles, and published work. Search a name, review possible matches, and go straight to the original sources.
Free live searches across Wikipedia, GitHub, and Crossref. Broader web searches open on the search provider’s site. Your search is sent to these providers when you submit.
Possible matches, not a verified identity. People can share names. Review each source before connecting a profile or publication to someone.

A few useful places to begin
Search three public sources in one place, with links to expand your research.
Names aren’t unique
Keep matches separate and use a company or field to narrow your search.
Every result has a source
Read the original page for context. A matching name alone does not establish identity.
What this free version searches
Wikipedia returns pages mentioning your name and optional keyword. GitHub searches public account names; the optional keyword is used for broader web links, not GitHub’s name search. Crossref searches publication authors and filters returned records for matching name tokens. Keywords also narrow Crossref publication results. This can miss initials, alternate spellings, and records not in these services.
This is a public-source discovery tool, not a background check or an exhaustive people database. It does not retrieve private contact details or combine separate results into a personal dossier. Source coverage, relevance and availability vary. Unavailable or rate-limited services are labeled separately.
No search history is saved by this app. Searches are sent directly from your browser to the providers; their privacy policies apply. Outbound searches share your query with the selected provider.
